*미래시제 will vs shall 뒤에 이어서

1)형태 및 해석

-will : on-the-spot-decision : ~ 할 거다

-be going to: planned : ~ 할 작정이다

-be to R : [굉장히 격식] ~할 예정이다 : *과거에서 바라본 예정: 운명적으로도 해석

-be+ ~ing: (진행형 사용) 개인 적이고 변동가능: ~ 할 거다

-be about to R : 막 ~할 참이다

-be on the point/edge/verge/brink of 동명사: (매우 임박한 일) 막 ~할 참이다, 작정이다

ex)

Would you like to have, sir? I’ll have chicken, please.

May I call a taxi? Don’t bother. I’ll drive you home.

What shall I do with your bag?

He shall help you move the bag.

I’m taking an exam in Sep.

I’m leaving tonight

*I leave tonight: 시간 부사가 붙어서 현재형. [격식] fixed schedule 경우

They were to get married in July.

It was about to explode.

*about: prep. ~에 관한 /ad. 1.주위에=around, 2.(수량, 수치) 대략=roughly

        adj. 임박한

He was on the point of turning back when he saw the debris of the wrecked ship.

*point: 점 =dot, 시점, 지점, 요점

There are no point of your argument. 네 논쟁엔 요점이 없다.

2)용도

i) happening at the moment

I’m wearing as it is very cold, 너무 추워서 외투를 입은 채였다

ii) progressing

The actress is filming of the historical heroine, Sacajawea.

iii) 미래 대용: 가까운 미래의 확실한 계획 : 미래에 대한 시간부사를 써줘야 함

Are you doing anything this weekend?

*왕래 발착 동사는 시간 부사가 없어도 미래로 쓸수 있다

He is coming with his many suitcases.

*be always, constantly +Ving ~: 자주 반복되는 사실(speaker의 입장에서 바라본)

He is constantly going away for three month a year. (집을 비운다, 집에 없다)

I am always watering the flowers in my garden every morning.  

3)진행형 불가 동사 : 상태동사 (static verb)

i)인지: think, agree, understand, believe, know, recall : 정신적 노동일 경우(애써~): 진행형

ii)감정: like, love /dislike, hate, loathe:혐오하다, detest: [격식] 몹시 싫어함/ fear, desire, wish/mind

iii)순수지각: smell, see, hear, feel: 진행형일 경우는 의도에 의해 행해졌을 때

taste, look, observe, notice 의 경우는 의지 없이 되어졌을 때 진행형 불가

iv) 소유: have, posses, belong, own, owe

v) 그 외: consist of~ / seem, appear / concern, contain, matter

ex)

What are you thinking about? I’m thinking about buying a new house. What do you think of it?

He doesn’t mind the cold: 신경쓰다, 꺼리다: 진행불가

He is minding his own business: 자신의 일을 돌보고 있다 : 돌보다: 진행형가능

I feel worm. (physical) /Can you feel the tension in this room? (mind)/

*S feel as if/as though~ ~[BE]인 것 같다(느낌, 인상) = [AE] feel like~

It felt as though he had run a marathon.

How are you feeling today? I’m feeling good.(기분)/The doctor is feeling the pulse for the patient.

I’ve been hearing all about your accident. 당신의 사건에 대해 모든 소식을 듣고 있는 중이다.

He has a nice flat in Hampstead. /I’m having dinner(a good time) with him.

5. 듣고난 소감 및 후기 

배우는 것은 쉽고 재미 있지만, 사용할 줄 아는 것은 어렵고 지난한 일이다. 이렇게 느려서야 언제 ‘굇수’가 될 수 있을까 한탄이 나오지만 원래 ‘바닥 다지기’는 오래 걸리고 볼품도 없다는 걸 알고 있다. 폭발하는 그 날을 향해 매일을 정진하려고 애쓰고 있다.

초보가 모든 걸 한꺼번에 다 익히기엔 힘드니 걸러서 익히는 작업이 필요하다. 선생님이 사용빈도를 알려주셔서 그게 도움이 되었다.
