분사구문의 해석범위

1) 이유(because, as, since)

2) 양보(although, even if)

3) 시간(while, when,after)

4) 조건(if)

5) 부대상황:and, as, while 가장많은 해석으로 사용됨

-> I was reading a book and drinking a cup of coffe.

-> I was reading a book, drinking a cup of coffee.

*부대상황 다른주어 S2가 걸리면 전치사 'with'를 앞에 둘 수 있다. 

He kept talking to me and his mouth was full of food.

-> He kept talking to me with his mouth full of food.

부사구문을 이용한 관용숙어

go fishing

go swimming

have a hard time -ing

have difficulty -ing
