도치 : 평서문을 의문문의 어순으로 바꾸어 적음

의문문 - be + S / 조 + S / do,does + S

-> 부정부사, 부정부사구, 부정부사절 문두 + 의문사

부정부사 : never, scarcely, hardly, rarely, seldom, little, neither, no sooner, no longer,no more, not only, not just, not simply, not merely

As soon as(Scarcely, Hardly) S + V , S+ V

I dreamed  little of being a teacher

-> Little did I dream of being a teacher

He has never been closer to me.

-> Never has he been closer to me.

No sooner had he seen me, than he ran away.

Neither do I.

부정부사구(전치사 + no + 명사 , little, few + 명사) - 주절동사가 부정해석되어야 함.

He went back home with no money -> 도치가 일어나지 않음. 주절동사가 부정해석이 아니기 때문

cf. You are not allowed to feed the monkeys under any circumstances.

 = You are allowed to feed the monkeys under no circumstances.

-> Under no circumstances, are you allowed to feed the monkeys.

-> In few countries is power equally shared among people.

정도 부사절에서 "so + 형용사, 부사"를 문두로 보내고 의문순서로 도치
