교수님. 위 문장에서 밑줄 친 부분이 어디에 걸리는 것인지

잘 모르겠습니다.

앞에 있는 the way 에 걸리고 the pottery is used가 생략된 것으로 바야

될까요?

and 의 뒷부분은 원래 명사절로서 in what sort of environment it is used 의 축약구조/ 도자기가 이용되는 방식 즉 어떤 종류의 환경에서 그것이 이용되느냐 하는 것이 강력한 영향을 끼친다
이 경우 and 는 부연설명의 and 이고 앞에 사용된 the pottery is used 를 생략하고 사용하였음
