원급비교구문에서 as형용사, 부사 as 라는 구조가 나오고 이럴때 뒤의 as 를 생략하고 사용한 것이며 앞의 as 는 부사 equally 의 의미입니다 이것은 저의 문법강의 비교구문에서 자세히 설명합니다. he is happy but his wife is not as happy (as he ) 이것을 눈여겨 보시면 이해될 듯
