2011 성대기출문제인데요
The general (1)acceptance of the view created an(2) expanded sense of guilt, (3)for if the
plague(4) had been punishment there had to be terrible sin (5)to have occasioned it.
답은 (4)had been --> was 로 바꿔야하고 for 이하의 절이 가정법이아니구 단순조건문이라서 그렇다는데요
질문 1)이 구문속에 조동사의 과거형이 없기 때문에 가정법이 아니라 단순조건문으로 보는것이 근거가 되는건가요??
또 제가 궁금한것은

질문 2)had to be 이 동사가 어디에 걸리는 동사인지요??
즉 for 이하의 구조가 궁금합니다

there is, was, are, were, has to be, have to be, had to be + 주어 / 가정법 주절에 would have pp 구조가 없는 것으로 보아 반대사실 가정이 아니라 과거사실 단순가정입니다 흔히 조건절이라고도 하지요
