either A or B, neither A nor B, not only A but also B - B에 수일치

every+단수가산명사, 단수취급: 의미는 '모든'으로 복수일지라도 항상 단수취급한다.

many+복명 복동 = many a 단명 단동: 많은

ex) Many a senior has been afflicted with dementia these days. = Many seniors have been afflicted with dementia these days.

the+형용사 = 복수보통명사 (사람들)

The+ poor, rich, old, young, high, low, sick, needy, ugly, handicapped 등의 형용사가 다양하게 올 수 있음

neither of 두 개를 의미하는 복명 + 단수동사: 둘 중 어떤 것도 ~ 아니다.

ex) Neither of the stories is interesting.

both of 복명 + 복동: 둘 다 ~이다.

ex) Both of these works were based on ancient legends.

one of 복명+ 단동: ~ 들 중의 하나 cf) one of 불가산명사+단수: ~의 한 종류

ex) Either of you has to watch this.

either of 복명+ 단동: 둘 중 하나

ex) One of the fastest growing sports in China is basketball.
