1. They beat the fire out of the gangster.
I will beat the daylights out of the gangsters.
얼마전에 드렸더 질문인데요 ㅜ
beat의 타짝이 the fire와 the daylights 인데..
직역은 불이나 빛을 털어내다 인가요?ㅠㅠ
2. Read out of a book : 책의 어떤 부분을 읽다.
read의 타짝은 생략되어진거 맞나요??
