마지막 기초 영문법 분사 1번째 강의에서 14:00 문장예시
The people interviewed (said/saying) (that) the company was their dream place to work.
답이 said인데요
답을 saying 으로 해서 that 이하를 명사절(명사)(interviewed의 목적어)로 saying이 명사절을 꾸며
그 사람들은 그 회사가 그들의 꿈의 직장이라고 말하는 것을 인터뷰했다.
이렇게도 될것 같은데
제 생각의 오류는 무엇인가요?

interview 는 누구를 면접하다라는 타동사이고 뒤에 사람을 목적어로 받아야 합니다 따라서 이 동사의 목적어로 saying 을 받을 수 없습니다 따라서 interviewed 는 수동수식어로 앞의 the people 을 꾸밉니다 한국어로 '면접받은 사람들'입니다 그다음에 술어동사가 와야 하므로 said 가 정답입니다 saying 이라는 술어동사는 없습니다.
