교수님 단어 notwithstanding에 관하여 질문좀 드릴게요~~
She is very active notwithstanding her age.
= She is very active her age notwithstanding.
1. 일단 notwithstanding은 꼭 분사구문의 모양으로 생겼는데
분사구문인지요? 이 경우에는 전치사라고 나와있어서요..
2. her age 와 notwithstanding가 도치가 될수 있는데 이건 그냥
용법으로 외우면 될가요??
He went out in the rain notwithstanding (that) he was ordered not to.
3. notwithstand라는 동사는 that절을 목적어로 가질수가
있는건가요??ㅜ

3. 원래 순수한 전치사라면 that 절은 받지 않지만 예외적으로 받을 수 있는 것들이 있어여 in , except,save, but 등 이 경우에는 though 라는 접속사의 역할을 한다고 보심됩니다
그러니까 결론은
notwithstanding + 명사상당어 = 명사상당어 + notwithstanding / notwithstanding + 명사절
