안녕하세요~~

DPR에서 비교관련부분에서 질문하겠습니다.

There is a new Internet where users are receiving connections up to 100 times faster than people at home. It is a network so swift and powerful that its advocates are claiming it has already changed the way we will interact with the Internet in the future.

라는 문장에서 첫문장 faster than에서 than 이하의 구조는 정확하게 어떻게 연결되는 것인가요??? 두 문장으로 나눠보려했는데 의미상으론 알겠는데 정확하게 어디서 어떻게 연결되는지가 모호하네요.ㅠㅠ

It is doubtful whether any heavier curse could be imposed on man than the complete gratification of all his wishes without effort on his part, leaving nothing for his hopes, desires, or struggles. 라는 문장에서 than 이하가 curse와 연결된 것인가요? 그런데 heavier 앞에 any는 어떤 역할인가요? 강조인가요? 아님 그냥 어떤이라는 의미인가요??
