There are several Egyptian paintings of great interest preserved amongst the numerous other remains of Egyptian art in the British Museum. Unfortunately , the originally brilliant colours of these have faded , and many of them are now fast decaying ; but when first discovered , such at least as had not been exposed to the influence of the atmosphere , their colours were as bright and pure as when they were first painted.

3. let 다음에 well enough 자체가 목적어이고 alone 이 목적보어 입니다 [ 충분히 좋은 상태를 그대로 내버려 두다] let 목적어 be alone 에서 동사가 생략된 형태라고 보심됩니다
