Texas gave only 2% of murderers the death sentence, less than the national average. (중략)African-Americans make up 42% of death row inmates while making up only 12% of the general population. On the other hand, others note that this is lower than the 50% of the total prison population which is African-Americans and that whites are in fact twice as likely as African-Americans to receive the death penalty. 문장의미상 콤마 뒤에 which was가 생략된것 같은데 계속적용법에선 which was가 생략되지못하는데 이건 콤마의 어떤 용법인가요? 그리고 앞에서는 less than을 썼고 뒤에서는 lower than을 썼는데 뉘앙스적으로만 차이가 있고 의미는 사실상 같은건가요? 내용을 적어주실때 설정된 폰트크기 그대로 사용 부탁드립니다! ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ※ 하루 1개의 글에 1개씩 질문을 제한합니다. |

두 자리에 각각 less, lower 를 바꾸어 써도 의미상 문제 없습니다. which be 다음에 오는 보어가 형용사나 명사일 경우 콤마를 쓰고 그냥 그런 보어만을 사용하는 경우가 많습니다.
