소유격 관계대명사 질문이요.

소유격 관계 대명사 부분이 이해가 잘 안가요. 예를 들면 The man is my boss 와 I have to take care of his dog 라는 두문장을 연결하는데 Whose dog i take cake care of 로  바꿔서 The man이나 boss에 일반 관계사처럼 수식하는 건가요?

일반 관계사처럼 수식을 해도 뜻이 좀 어색해요. 어떻게 해석 해야죠?

the man whose dog I take care of is my boss 가 정답이고요 해석은 제가 둘 로 나누어서 하라고 말씀드렸어요 즉 따로 따로 해석
그 남자는 나의 보스인데 그의 개를 내가 보살피고 있다
