and 앞의 콤마는 선택적으로 사용합니다 accused 는 they 를 공통주어로 하고 있고 이경우 accused 앞의 콤마는 and 를 대용한 것입니다 영어에서 코마가 and 를 대용하는 경우는 많이 있습니다. 뒤의 and 는 그 다음에 corrupting 이라는 동명사를 받았으므로 정확히 introducing 과 같은 역할을 합니다
