Let me bring you up to date on what's happening. 이라는 문장에서

bring은 4형식으로 you가 간접목적어이면 직접목적어는 up to date인가요?

up to date는 형용사적으로 써서 <최신의>라는 뜻이 아니었나요? 명사적으로 쓰여서 up to date가 직접목적어가 되는 것인가요?

그리고 up to date에서 하이픈(-)이 있는것과 없는 것의 차이가 무엇인가요?
