후치수식( post modifying)

-명사의 앞에서 꾸미는 말 (관사, 소유격, 수사, 지시형용사, 부정형용사)

[a, an, the, first, that, these, those, one, two, first, second, all another, any, some, no]등의 단어형용사, 일반형용사, 복합명사(명사+명사)를 구성하는 또 다른 명사 수식어들은 명사의 "앞"에서 명사를 꾸민다.

ex) A pretty girl is walking the street.

      I wanted a happy marriage.

      I am heading for the city hall (복합명사)

-명사의 뒤에서 꾸미는 말 (전치사+명사, to V.R, 분사구, 관계사절, 형용사구)

 1. 명사+전치사+명사 (토씨 +명사)

   ex) The house on the hill

         She is the woman of my life

         Is this train for Busan an ecpress?

         I met a man from Siberia. 

         The house on the hill looks romantic.

 2. 명사 + to V.R (-할 명사)

   ex)  water to drink.

          I need a book to read.

         There is water to drink in the refrigeerator.

         She nees a man to love her.

         We will build a house to live in.

  3. 명사 + 분사구 (-하고 있는 명사)

   ex)  the man working for me

          He is the only man working for me.

          We found ou way back home under the moon hanging in the middle of the sky.

  4.  명사 + p.p (과거분사구=과거분사+다른언어)

   ex)  I pivked up an apple fallen from the tree.

         They served me a steak done by a famouse chef.

  5.  명사 + 관계사절 (명사 + who, which, that + 술어동사)

- 명사 + who, which, that + 술어동사

- 명사 + whom, which, that + 주어 + 술어동사

- 명사 + 형용사구

4. 듣고난 소감 :

오늘은 이때까지 들은 강의에 비해 조금 난이도가 높았습니다. 한번 더 들어야 할 것 같습니다. 하지만, 예전 선생님 말씀대로 하나하나 다 세세하게 알면서 가기보다는, 일단 모르는게 있더라도 쭉 끝까지 가보자라는 태도로 임하니 강의 마지막에는 어느정도 이해가 되었습니다.

 열심히 연습하여 제것으로 꼭 만들고 말것입니다.
