demand + O 묻다

2. deny

 deny + O (명 /ing / that S+ V) - 부인하다

 They al denied ever having seen her

The accused man denies [ that he has ever met her].

3. direct

<-> indirect

direct + N : 지도하다, 지휘하다

There was no teacher to direct the class.

direct N + to R(-> that S + V) "N"에게 ~하도록 명령하다, 지휘하다

direct + that + S + (should) V.R ~할것을 지시하다
