1. 시간의 부사절

    when, as, while, before, after, until, since, as soon as, as long as,

    by the time, once, each time, every time, whenever

  * before S  +  V~      S가 V하기 전에  

                                3 days before he dies

                                long before ~

    *** it will not be long before S  +  V  머지않아 S가 V한다

          it will not be long before   명사

           ---> It will not be long before it starts to rain.

    *** had not pp  +  수, 량  before  S  +  V  : 채 ~도 못해서  S가 V했다.

          ----> She had not read the first two chapters before she fell asleep.
