surprise : 놀라게 하다 / surprising : 놀라게 하는 / surprised : 놀람을 당하는

감정을 느끼는 주체가 주어가 되면 pp를 쓰고 주어가 아니면 ing 쓴다

The film is touching / I am touched

It was surprising news / The news was surprising

Look at the exhausted boys / They are exhausted

형용사? 부사?

형용사와 부사의 형태가 같은 단어

early, fast,high,late,low,near,hard,daily,hourly,yealy,weekly

형태는 비슷하지만 뜻을 정확히 모르면 혼동사기 쉬운, 형용사와 부사

hard : 어려운,딱딱한,세찬 / hardly : 거의 ~않다

near : 가까운,가깝게 / nearly : 거의

late : 늦은,고인이 된, 말기의,늦게 / lately : 최근에

most : 대부분의 / mostly : 주로,대체로 / almost : 거의

low : 낮은, 낮게 /lowly : 낮게

high : 높은, 높게 /highly : 높게

명사 + ly= 형용사

manly,friendly,lovely,likely,lonely,elderly,motherly
