과거진행시제: was + V.R-ing /were + V.R-ing

상태동사는 진행으로 만들지 않는다.

의미: 과거시점에 진행되던 동작

        과거에서 바로본 미래

        alwasys, constently 가 나오면 과거에서 반복되던 습관

It was getting darker.

The wind was blowing hard.

At eight he was having dinner.

At eight he had dinner.

He was busy packing because he was leaving that night.

He was always biting off his fingernails.

미래진행시제: will (shell) be V.R-ing

미래의 어떤 특정한 시점에 진행되고 있을 동작을 예측

I will be having dinner with Alec by7 in the evening.

He will be flying over the Atlantic by tomorrow noon.

완료시제

현재완료시제 the present perfect tense

과거에 일어난 행위를 현재와 연관시켜 말하는 시제

have, has + pp

have, has + been + pp(수동형)

a. have just pp 막 ~하다 (과거시점중에서 현재와 제일 가까운 행위)

    have alredy pp 막 벌써 ~했다

    have not pp yet 의문문/부정문에 사용

b. 결과용법 결과를 염두해두고

    I've received 2 free tickets for the movies.

    have gone to

c. 과거에서 현재 말하는 시점까지의 경험

    ever, never, how, many times

d. 과거에서 시작된 행위의 상태가 현재까지 지속될때 ~해 왔다.

    have been v-ing/ have pp 동시동작에 한하여

    for + 기간 / since + 시점 ~이후로 / since + S + V 주어가 동사한 이후로

a) just 와 함께 최근에 완성된 행동

He has just gone out = He went out a fer minutes ago.

b) 최근 과거의 행동이지만 과거시점을 명기하지 않았을때

I've read the novel but I don't understan what it is trying to say.

c) 최근 과거의 행동으로 현재 빚어진 결과를 예측하면서 말할때

Alex has had a bad motor cycie accident

d) 과거의 일이지만 어쩌면 앞으로도 또 다시 있을것 같을 일

I have seen a unmber of wild cats in the woods.또 다시 그 장소에 가면 그 고양이들이 있을지 몰라라는 뜻이 내포되어 있음

today, this morning, this afternoon, this evening, this week, this month, this year, this century등은

모두 시간대의 설정에 따라 현재완료에 선택적 사용.

He has given you 3 calls this morning.

He gave you 3 calls this morning.

Have you ever fallen  off a horse?

Did you ever fall off a horse?

현재완료는 과거부터 현재까지의 기간을 두고 어떤 동작이나 상태의 지속과 관련된 표현

so far, until now, since, for+기간

I have not seen him since September.

Have you heard from him since he left home?

I've since changed my mind.=I've changed my mind since then.

Since my accident I have written with my left hand.

I've worn glasses since my high school days.

I've used my left hand for a month now.

always 나 never 등의 빈도부사를 넣어서 습관적 행위를 의미 할 수 있다.

He has always answered my letters.

I've never been late for class.

시간의 길이를 직접적으로 이야기할 때 it is + 기간명사 + since + 과거나 현재완료 시제

It is 4 months since I had a date.

It is 3 years since I have seen him.

현재완료 진행시제 prsent perfect contiunous

상태동사는 만들수 없다.

말하고 잇는 시점까지 지속되거나 그 시점을 넘어서도 지속될것으로 예측된다는 의미

과거에 시작된 행위가 일정 기간 동안 지속되면서 현재까지도 이어지는 상황

have, has + been + V.R-ing

I've been writing letters since breakfast.

과거완료시제 the past perfcet tense

과거 완료시제는 현재와 아무런 연관이 없다.

ago는 과거시제 함께 (현재시점부터 10년전)

before는 과거완료시제 함께 (특정과거시점부터 10년전)

Mr. Obama was in uniform when I met him. He  had been  soldier for tne years,

and planned to stay in the army till he was forty.

과거완료진행시제 past perfect continuous

Nick had tried five times to get her on the phone.

He had been trying to get Anne on the phone.

미래완료시제 the future perfect tense

will have pp, shall have pp/ 수동태 will have been pp, shall have been pp

by then, by that time, by the 21st,  by 2050 미래기준시점

By the end of next month, Harry will have been here for 6 years.

미래완료진행시제 futrue perfect continuous

He will come back tomorrow.

He will have come back by tomorrow.

미래기준시점에서 ~할꺼다(미래시제) ~했을거다(미래완료진행시제)
